A technician was checking the server cluster at the Veterans Medical Centre in Kansas City, Kansas, when a cat allegedly jumped on the keyboard. As a result, the server was accidentally deleted and with it all stored medical records.
According to Kurt Delbene, IT director at the local department, this is the reason why he prefers to keep a dog as a pet.
However, the state authorities confirmed the incident, but did not agree that the cat was definitely to blame. It took four hours to restore the documents and restart the system.
