Germany will have the first social housing built by 3D printing

Given the specifics of the project, the first two floors will be printed using a COBOD BOD 2 printer, filled with a special cement-like mixture that will be laid layer by layer under robot control. The entire process is expected to take just 100 hours. The builders will construct the upper floor of the building from wooden facade panels by hand, as well as install the roof, floors, doors, windows and utilities.
